A leading provider of healthcare services to the NHS is now looking for a PACS/RIS Business Systems Manager to join the diagnostics team managing aspects of the secondary care division's information systems.
You will be responsible for the specification, selection and operation of all applications that satisfy the requirements for the clinical division and the corporate systems architecture. You will also be required to identify and address induction and training gaps for operational staff. Furthermore, you will manage application support for all implemented systems, including change control and enhancements, new releases and regression and ready-for-operation testing.
The successful Business Systems Manager will have a systems administration background, experience in secondary care applications and experience of most elements of the CfH. (PACS, PAS, N3, PDS, ETB, CRDB...).
Skills: - Microsoft application knowledge (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) - Business analysis - Functional knowledge of clinical applications
The ideal candidate will have a background in a healthcare related IT environment with experience of RIS and PACS. You'll have strong systems analysis experience and a track record of successfully managing small support teams. A strong overall understanding of clinical systems from a functional perspective is also desirable.
