The PACS & Teleradiology SIG is collaborating with the Connecting for Health (CfH) programme to produce a national set of clinical imaging procedure codes that map to a defined subset of SNOMED CT. The current National List and related documentation are now posted below.
From 26 January 2007 all formal requests for change must be submitted by email to the data standards helpdesk (datastandards@nhs.net)with a definition and a rationale of why the submission is required. These requests for change will be assessed against the editorial principles and either added to the subset, rejected or submitted to the Procedure Code Clinical Imaging Management Group for consideration.

National standard representation of clinical imaging procedures
The new October 2009 version of the national standard interim clinical imaging procedures is now available on the CFH website at http://www.connectingforhealth.nhs.uk/systemsandservices/data/terminology/imagin g.
The supporting documents below are posted on the CFH site. Please note the new codes include mapping to OPCS4.5 codes for trial implementation.
