A scientific meeting organised by Mr Stewart Whitley on behalf of the British Institute of Radiology.
Obesity amongst the general population in the UK is increasing at an alarming rate and is associated with detrimental health effects among
all ages in society. The challenge to society to counteract this epidemic and cope with the many associated illness is immense and requires major involvement and resources of Health Services. This meeting will bring together members of the imaging multidisciplinary team and other experts to share a better understanding of the subject and explore how the Imaging Community can meet the challenges of providing optimal diagnostic images and reports across the spectrum of all imaging modalities.
