"PACS display devices used for primary diagnostic clinical image viewing"

does this apply to PCs as well?

Neelam, it applies to PC driven display devices used for clinical image interpretation i.e. primary/diagnostic display devices. It does not apply to display devices that are not used for clinical image intrepretation.

Hi All
Here at Milton Keynes we have invested in the EIZO 2MP colour monitors for the wards and clinics and the QA software which allows us to carry out the relevant checks. If you also purchase the networking software it will send the results of the tests back to the system administrator via the hospital network so you can easily see if a monitor has failed, the location of the monitor and the test which it failed on. At present we are complying with the guidelines set out in the IPEM91 document and carrying out the tests every three months.
