I have developed worklist server. Philips CT-64 Brilliance and Toshiba CT-64 Aquilion perfectly communicate with this worklist SCP and populate Modality Worklist data. But Toshiba Logic 7 Ultrasound modaliy machine fetch worklist data from worklist server prefectly without any communication problem but does not display data in worklist area.
Can any body help regarding Toshiba Logic 7 Ultrasound worklist format and required fields etc.

regards;

SibtainPasha,

If you can make some sort of a log of the request you receive from the ultrasound machine, and the data you then send, then I will happily have a look at it for you - send it to me via private mail, as it may well contain patient details.

In general, you may find that the comp.protocols.dicom Internet newsgroup (which you can access via google etc.) is more appropriate for this sort of question than this newsgroup as it is inhabited by more technical people, but that said there are a few of here us more than happy to help!

For reference, the 3 most common mistakes in MWL SCPs are:

1) Making invalid UIDs (with leading zeros in components) - some equipment will object to this and other equipment will accept it

2) Wrongly returning empty procedure sequences (you are only obliged to support simple description OR the sequence) - if you don't support the sequence you must simply omit it - not send it back empty

3) Simply failing to support some of the mandatory elements as required by table K-6.1 in Part 4 of DICOM

Hi,

You can use ethereal to capture communication and save, it is a free tool http://www.ethereal.com/. Just install it in the server and capture connection.

After you save connection, you can use DICOM Detective to analyze what you send and what you get.
