We are having problems with a Mammo machine sending files/images labelled as modality PR. Does anyone know what PR stands for please. I have tried an internet search without much success.

Thanks

It's a Presentation State (defines how an image is displayed in terms of window/level, zoom, rotate/flip, annotation etc) see part 3 of the DICOM standard http://www.dclunie.com/dicom-status/status.html#BaseStandard2004
