Imaging Partners Online is an established and successful international teleradiology provider and is looking to expand its UK team with the addition of a PACS/RIS Systems administrator.
As an experienced RIS/PACS administrator, you will be looking to take the next step in your career by applying your knowledge to a complex wide area PACS and RIS environment.
• Perform system maintenance on the all IT systems, interfaces and databases
• Perform system failure and recovery and resolution/work-around methods
• Perform system troubleshooting of anomalies and manage the process through to resolution
• Manage, monitor and maintain IT systems to ensure the maximum uptime and availability
• Serve as the primary point of contact for service and support
• Manage the vendor service contract and performance to SLAs
• Develop and maintain IT system security policies
• Maintain data integrity, consistency and patient privacy
• Document system design, configuration, maintenance and issues
• Coordinate establishment of customer interfaces including DICOM and HL-7 interfaces
• Manage purchase, build, configuration and deployment of HW and SW as required.
• Perform [daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly] system maintenance procedures
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot peripheral devices
• Configure, maintain, and document user access, user profiles and system configurations
• Assign and manage user privileges and access rights
• Maintain and change end user passwords
• Coordinate system upgrades
• Document system acceptance testing procedures and results
• Communicate with and educate end users
• Communicate system changes and upgrades to end users
• Document end user feedback for system modifications and improvements
• Train new system users; design the training plan
• Perform annual budgeting for system maintenance and support processes
