PACS/RIS Support - North London - Up to £35k plus excellent benefits.
An excellent opportunity is now available for a skilled PACS/RIS Support Engineer to join a leader in the provision of medical imaging systems to the NHS.
The role will involve the provision of remote support to users across the UK on a variety of complex technical issues encompassing the application, client network connectivity and backend database and operating systems. You'll also get involved in fault resolution on customer hardware using remote diagnostic tools.
The role requires a variety of technical skills so the successful candidate must have a strong background in the following: Oracle support/DBA skills (eg - Indexing, DB troubleshooting); Unix and MS OS support skills (Solaris/Windows Server); Excellent SQL scripting skills; Experienced in Sun/HP/Dell hardware support; Fluent in TCP/IP networking;
**ESSENTIAL - PACS/RIS support experience - eg. GE/Sectra/Phillips/AGFA**
In addition you'll have excellent communications skills, the ability to solve problems in a fast moving and demanding support environment and an eye for detail and strong documentation.
