This market leading company in medical information systems and PACS are looking to increase their team of Integration Specialists as part of the NPfIT.

Main duties and responsibilities:
To manage application platform-specific integration and provide guidance and expertise to a team on how to integrate the solution into the local environments. The role will involve the planning, supervising and co-ordinating the system integration activities and network design of major IT Projects in PACS, RIS and Telemedicine. You will specify and co-ordinate interfaces with other subsystems, using software solutions to solve integration issues, train regional support engineers in connectivity and inter-operability and manage the system integration services, as well as identifying DICOM validation and verification requirements in order to deal with connectivity issues.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
You will have extensive IT knowledge and experience of providing software solutions in a client server environment. Understanding and previous exposure to Application Integration challenges.

Knowledge of NHS technical environment and legacy systems (highly preferable)
Technical knowledge of iSOFT and Torex, in particular the interfaces (highly preferable)
Experience of DICOM, HL7 and an understanding of healthcare systems
and PACS (highly preferable)
In-depth knowledge of Messaging Tools, such as BIZZ Talk or MQ Series, Seebeyond

Driving licence essential as travel between various locations within Strategic Health Authorities will be required.
