Barco's Voxar product group is the acknowledged leader in 3D for PACS. The
company develops 3D medical imaging software, which allows the rapid display and analysis of 3D medical scan images from CT, MRI and PET on dedicated workstations or embedded into PACS.

As a key member of the Product Management team, you will be responsible for specifying and bringing to market a complete product including software, documentation, services and collateral. You will be the driver of product and feature planning with a goal of creating a product that meets customer needs and beats the competition. You will be expected to create a long-term technology based competitive advantage for the company. You must be able to understand market forces and customer needs and abstract these into a product plan.

Key responsibilities will include
- Defining product requirements and supporting ROIs, ensuring that the product maintains it market-leading position and exploits market opportunities.
- Working with marketing, develop strong product branding to maximise brand equity and increase market share in targeted markets.
- Monitor market environment, business trends and competitors to identify new business opportunities / threats

Your profile

We are looking for individuals with a proven track record in software product management and ideally an understanding of medical products and markets particularly those related to medical imaging and radiology.

You will have excellent commercial acumen, a true team player and be capable of leading product management activities for assigned products or product areas.

Likely to be based in Edinburgh, UK, these position will involve frequent international travel, principally but not exclusively to the USA.
