DIRECTORATE OF MEDICAL IMAGING

PACS / RIS SYSTEMS MANAGER
Salary: 33,500 - 36,300 according to experience

The Trust Imaging Department is based across 6 sites (including Breast Screening) and is managed by the Clinical Director and a General Manager who has a radiographic background.

CR has been implemented on all sites as the first step towards a Trust-wide PACS system.

We now require a self-motivated, dynamic individual who has proven project management experience within a clinical setting. You will ideally hold a relevant professional qualification and have a minimum 5 years experience in IT.
You should demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills at all levels and be able to effectively communicate information to all staff as appropriate. You will utilise your organisational skills to successfully manage and prioritise a variable and diverse workload, travelling to all Trust sites as required.
A knowledge of the NHS IT strategy is essential and experience within radiology would be an advantage.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious systems manager to further develop their skills within a modern, welcoming environment.

For an informal discussion please contact Malcolm Greenwood, General Manager on 01302 366666 Ext 3724.

Application packs can be obtained from Lynne Greenwood on 01302 366666
Ext 4605 or email lynne.greenwood@dbh.nhs.uk.

Closing date: Friday 27 June 2005

I suspect I'm not the only one to notice this, and this isn't the only posting that this applies to, but job opportunities postings would be more useful if they gave some idea of geographical location. Hope this helps.
