Image Management PRocurEment SyStem (IMPRESS)
The IMPRESS guide was designed to provide guidance for NHS bodies when purchasing Image Management Systems, in particular; Picture Archiving and Communications Systems (PACS). This has now been superseeded following the introdustion of the national output based specification (OBS) for PACS and national programme for IT (NPfIT).

This is therefroe now a historical document but contains useful information that still may be of interest to those procuring PACS. The guidance contained within this document was developed by the NHS Purchasing and Supply Agency (NHS PASA) in conjunction with PACSnet, NHS Executive, NHS Trusts and suppliers within this market.
